The View menu provides options to customize the interface layout and control what’s displayed on the map.

Elevation Profile

Show or hide the elevation profile panel. Keyboard shortcut: Cmd+P (Mac) / Ctrl+P (Windows) The elevation profile displays altitude data for your current selection, helping you visualize climbs and descents along your route.

File Tree

Toggle the tree layout for the file list. Keyboard shortcut: Cmd+L (Mac) / Ctrl+L (Windows) The tree layout is ideal for managing multiple open files, organizing them in a vertical list on the right side of the map. It also enables you to inspect tracks, segments, and waypoints within files through collapsible sections. Learn more in the File Tree documentation.

Show Hover Buttons

Toggle the display of quick-action buttons that appear in the File Tree when hovering over items. When enabled, you’ll see convenient action buttons appear as you move your mouse over Folders, Files, Tracks, & Waypoints.

Show Statistics

Toggle statistics display in the File Tree such as distance, elevation gain, and estimated time.

Toggle Previous Basemap

Switch to the previously selected basemap. Keyboard shortcut: F1 This provides a quick way to compare different map styles without opening the map layer control.

Toggle Overlays and POIs

Toggle the visibility of map overlays and points of interest selected through the map layer control. Keyboard shortcut: F2

Distance Markers

Toggle the visibility of distance markers along your routes. Keyboard shortcut: F3 Distance markers are displayed for the current selection, similar to the elevation profile.

Direction Arrows

Toggle the visibility of direction arrows on routes. Keyboard shortcut: F4 Direction arrows show the travel direction along your tracks and routes.

Waypoints

Toggle the visibility of waypoints on the map. Keyboard shortcut: F6

Media

Toggle the visibility of media markers (photos, videos) on the map. Keyboard shortcut: F7 When enabled, any geotagged media associated with your files will be displayed on the map.

Toggle 3D

Enter or exit the 3D map view. Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Drag on the map
To control the orientation and tilt of the map in 3D mode, drag the map while holding the Ctrl key.
