Navigation Controls
Zoom
Use the zoom buttons to zoom in and out of the map. You can also:- Scroll wheel - Zoom in/out
- Double-click - Zoom in on a location
- Pinch gesture - Zoom on touch devices
Compass
Click the compass to reset the map to north-facing orientation. 3D Tilt: HoldCtrl and drag the map to change the orientation and tilt for a 3D perspective view.
Search
Use the search bar to find addresses, cities, or landmarks. Click a result to navigate the map to that location.Location
Click the locate button to center the map on your current position.This requires allowing your browser and Rendzo to access your location.
Street View
Enable street view mode to explore locations at ground level. The street view source can be configured in Settings:Mapillary (Default)
Community-contributed street-level imagery:- Green lines show coverage areas
- Green dots appear when zoomed in, showing exact photo locations
- Hover over a dot to preview the imagery
Google Street View
Click anywhere on the map to open Google Street View in a new tab at that location.Map Layers

- OpenTopoMap - Topographic map with contour lines
- OpenHikingMap - Hiking-focused map from refuges.info
- CyclOSM - Cycling-optimized map showing bike infrastructure
- Rendzo Offroad - Custom map designed for overlanding, off-road adventures, and backcountry exploration. Differentiates paved, gravel, dirt roads, and trails. Click the (i) icon next to “Rendzo Offroad” in the layer control to view the full legend.

Points of interest (POIs) shown on the map are from external data sources and are different from waypoints you create in your GPX files. See the Waypoints documentation for more information.
