Set your preferred default values for track appearance, routing options, and other settings that apply when creating new content.

## Tags

<Icon icon="tags" iconType="solid" /> Manage your tag library for organizing files.

Create, edit, and delete tags that can be assigned to files for better organization. Tags make it easy to filter and find related files across your workspace.

Choose between:

* **Metric** (kilometers, meters)
* **Imperial** (miles, feet)

## Velocity Units

<Icon icon="gauge-high" iconType="solid" /> Change the units used to display speeds in the interface.

Choose between:

## Theme

<Icon icon="sun" iconType="solid" /> Change the visual theme of the interface.

Choose between:

* **Light** - bright interface for daytime use
* **Dark** - darker interface that's easier on the eyes in low light
* **System** - automatically matches your operating system's theme preference

## Street View Source

<Icon icon="street-view" iconType="solid" /> Choose which street view provider opens by default when you turn street view on.

Choose between:

* **Google Street View** (default) - Google's professional, comprehensive imagery
* **Mapillary** - community-contributed imagery; better coverage on trails and off-road

You can switch providers at any time using the tabs in the street view window — this setting just controls which one loads first.

See the [Street View guide](/docs/app/street-view) for the full feature.

## Map Layers...

<Icon icon="layer-group" iconType="solid" /> Open the map layers dialog.

From this dialog you can:

* Enable or disable map layers
* Add custom map layers
* Adjust overlay opacity
* Reorder layers

More information about map layers can be found in the [map controls section](/docs/app/map-controls).
